Hi everyone! I have my interview for Scripps set up for next week (on-campus) and I was wondering what I should be expecting. I've been reading various threads about interviews in general but most of the information I could find didn't pertain directly to Scripps. What kind of questions do they generally ask? Any idea of who I would probably be meeting with? Anything I should be prepared for? Thanks so much!

Hi Rachel,

I just answered some interview questions a couple posts down in “Is Scripps good for pre-med??” so go take a look- krntomboy had pretty much the same questions. As for who you’ll be meeting with- it could be any of the admission officers. They all do interviews, and they’re all super-nice, so don’t worry about getting a Dolores Umbridge or anything.

I’d also be curious to hear more about interviews.
Can anyone tell me their specific experiences?
(Especially for off-campus alumnae interviews)

My D interviewed a few years ago. Be sure to know about the science center! Is it Keck?

I had an off-campus alumna interview. She spent the first half asking me about myself–nothing too tricky, though she did ask to what other schools I was applying, which sort of threw me off a bit. Then we spent the second half with me asking her questions, so you definitely want to do your research on the school.
