I know it's a bit early, but I'm just wondering if anyone has been admitted yet.

do you know when admissions for RD come out??

I called admissions last week and they said “you should be receiving a letter by the end of next week” - which means this week. Lets hope so.

The admissions officer on a tour recently said that they were shooting for sending it all out on March 19th.

ooo
thanks

ya i got nothing here sweats

Will they notify via e-mail or online?

They will send you a letter. The school in the heart of Silicon Valley refuses to put your decision on the internet.

According to the EA experience, a few days (two maybe?) after the mail sent out, your ecampus account will change. So, if you live locally, you can receive the letter the next day before any changes on the web. If you live outside CA, you might notice some changes on the web before receiving the actual mail.

what kind of changes?

Your page would have more tab/link with information. But your application status won’t change at all. You could NOT find a sentence saying “XXXX, you’re admitted” like other colleges. Guess they just want you to save the excitement until the snail mail. :)

Thanks! Yeah i agree with you. I think even though you have to wait, it does save the excitement. All the other colleges I’ve been accepted I had a general idea, or I received an email so I really wasn’t surprised when I saw the acceptance package. With SCU I’m going to have to wait but I don’t mind checking the mail. Haha.

I received my acceptance packet today as a Provost scholar. I’m in norcal so those OOS and in socal should be receiving acceptance packets soon at least for scholarship applicants

D received her admission today and was also named a Provost scholar, which the letter says places her in the top 5% of the class-if anybody wondered. We are also on the west coast… PNW.

Good luck to everyone!

D received admission today. Postmarked 3-19. Live in Norcal

Also received admission today

are u guys all provost scholars?
Or did regular applicants get the letters of acceptances too?

Congratulations to all those who were accepted to SCU!!

D was not named Provost scholar. Admitted RD. What are stats of Provost desginees? D is 4.47 GPA weighted with 5 AP’s and 2050 SAT. Curious as to the threshold/criteria for Provost.

^
beatrojan, I am curious as to what major did ur D apply to?
