SCU vs. URochester for Cognitive Science and AI

Hey Guys!

I was wondering if anybody has information on which school would offer better opportunities in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence. SCU has the advantage of location and better internships, being in Silicon Valley, but URochester has the curriculum I’m looking for as well as more undergrad research opportunities. SCU also has a more well-rounded education, which I find important. URochester is better ranked in Cognitive Science. SCU does have a “make-your-own-major” which I would try to use to major in Cognitive Science if I enroll there.

Any advice on what the best track for a career in Cognitive Science/AI would also be appreciated. I would love to pursue a Masters and PhD. I was also wondering if a DO/MD would benefit me more than a Masters/PhD. Internship and research opportunities for these fields would also be helpful.

Thanks!
