SDSU 2022 Transfers

Interesting, my major is business administration - entrepreneurship and I still haven’t received a decision.

I’ll repeat @luke31’s question:

Anybody?

Does any transfer applicant other than @TelevisionRomance see an update in their admission status on the portal?

Admitted

Major: Business Administration Real Estate
GPA: 3.73
AS-T: Maybe
Pre-reqs: Complete
Golden Four: A, B, A, A
Local: No
Veteran: No

How do you check if your major is AST required? I’m wanting to drop my physical science class because I am worried I will fail but don’t want to do so if it is AST required

it would have said it when you first applied on cal state when you selected your major, as well as your supplemental app requiring your degree to get verified and receiving a green check mark you can drop the class as long as you will still complete your degree as well as have 60 units.

And yep, the welcome video is soo clean

OMG i thought the same thing, the fireworks scene was beautiful, really appealing.

Would it say under additional forms to send on the application portal? It doesn’t mention an AST but it does request my transcripts.

nah, I think you are fine tbh. Just check with your counselor to get their opinion before making any moves

I believe this gives the majors that need to be ADT verified

Is it to late to change our major?

I would speak to a sdsu admissions rep about that

I got my ADT verification mark already posted, it posted like a week ago.

Major:

Gpa:

The adt verification is so annoying, I can’t get in contact with anyone at my cc to verify it.

Have you checked the Cal State Apply website? Log in, and Click “Check Status”.

If your community college has processed your ADT Verification, you should see the following:

Click on “Reported” to get the details of what was reported to the CSUs that you applied to.

Your CCC may very well have already sent the ADT verification, it is just that SDSU hasn’t processed it on their end, thus the dreaded red X.

On the other hand, if you do not see evidence of the ADT having been reported, then you can call your CCC transfer counselor to find out what the timetable is for them to report it. The deadline is not until March 15 I suppose it is possible that some CCCs wait to send their verifications in just in time fashion.

Hey, thanks for the helpful post. My Cal State Apply portal indicates that my community college has already verified my ADT, however this isn’t reflected in my SDSU portal. I still have the red X. Do you think it’s a separate verification for SDSU specifically or have they just not processed it yet?

I suspect that they just haven’t processed it yet on the SDSU end.

It appears that SDSU processes admissions for certain colleges/departments/majors/geographic locations/residencies (IS/OOS/Intl) before others for reasons internal to SDSU.

Some folks without ADTs have already received decisions. Some folks who had green ADT verification checkmarks have already received decisions, but some folks with green checkmarks have not. A lot of folks still have red Xs.

There may be a rhyme or reason to it, but that rhyme or reason is known only to SDSU.

Wait that’s so interesting because on cal state apply mine says it’s verified…welp

Another detail: Look in your email inbox to find an email from CalStateApply with the subject “CSU application update - Check Cal State Apply” and make note of the date of that email.

Then check your SDSU portal and look at the center section entitled “Applicant Information” (see below).

If the “Admission Status Date” in your SDSU portal matches the date of your CalStateApply email, then I think that you can be reasonably assured that SDSU has indeed received your ADT verification. They simply haven’t finished processing it on their end. I imagine that your red X will change to a green check after they finish processing it, but this may not happen until shortly before they update your Admission Status from pending to the final admission decision.
