I believe Financial Aid is late March. I was just looking after receiving an email. I saw that info somewhere, I’m not certain where.

Wow!! UNC OOS is impressive. Lots of top students from my D’s HS applied and denied. We’re from the DC area and it’s top choice for lots of kids. Congratulations ~ but sorry about SDSU.

Son denied for CS. 4.0 CSU GPA. No Ap’s through 10th grade. In state/Non local.

Least shocking thing i’ve ever heard lol.

Son denied today for political science. 3.92 CSU GPA, 6 honors/AP classes, California resident/non local

Daughter denied for Nursing. (In state, non local)

4.3 CSU GPA (I originally thought it was a 4.5) 9 AP Classes. She was accepted to Fullerton, so that is where she will be going. Good luck to everyone!

D denied with 3.95 CSU GPA, 6 APs, CA nonlocal. SDSU was her first choice. She was accepted to SJSU, so I think that is where she will go.

It’s ok, it was a not a top choice, just a little surprising!

If its her first choice, I would consider an appeal, it could not hurt.

If it’s his first choice, I suggest he emails Admissions and let them know that and keep it very positive and add any new information that may be helpful in the decision. It couldn’t hurt.

@sherryjane73: Cal states do not consider an applicants level of interest. Appealing the denial is the only option.
