Does anyone know if this correct regarding Weber honors scholarships. It seems to me they are applied for and or notified AFTER you enroll. It seems counter intuituve? Thank you.
Yes, for any merit scholarships at SDSU you have either be invited to apply or enroll to apply, while notification will be after you are a matriculated student.
SDSU like most CSU’s offer little to no merit aid, so they will only award these scholarships to students after they decide to become an Aztec. If a merit scholarship is required to make the school affordable, then you cannot count on receiving these scholarships. These are more like the icing on the cake.
Congratulations, how long after application did you hear? Mine of course waited until the last minute.
what is her major?
Does anyone know of anyone at SDSU who’s acceptance was rescinded or not rescinded with a D+? Very much on the cusp of getting first ever D in pre-calc. I know what admissions page says, no D’s but wondering if perhaps they’d be understanding that 2 years of math was online and this class isn’t needed and never should have taken it. Sociology major so it’s not like needed for major either.
I have seen some Cal states rescind acceptances for D’s and F’s. I would contact SDSU admissions and see what can be done to maintain the acceptance. Some schools are very understanding and will not take any action until final grades are posted however, being proactive is important. Perhaps she can offer to take the class again this summer if the final grade is below a C-. In the meantime, I suggest she work with her teacher and tutor to get that grade up.
Has anyone got any significant aide for SDSU I got to pay at least 20k in loans according to my financial package
Are you a California resident? Do you qualify for Federal need based aid, Cal grants etc…? Did you run the Net price calculator prior to applying?
Sorry, late reply yeah I’m cali resident I got the cal grant but when I calculate I owe about 15k a year. This is the same for a friend of mine that committed. I just assumed because its a csu the net price be lower than the UCS
Cal grants cover tuition but unless you have significant need based on the FASFA, room and board are not covered by the grants. Cal state aid is usually less than say the UC’s since they also assume that the majority of students will be commuting vs. living on-campus.
Idk if this article got posted… but SDSU received nearly 100k undergrad applications this year for the first time
It’s a substantial increase from last year, which was a substantial increase from 2020.
Hi guys. So I was thinking if we could come up with a WhatsApp group for the SDSU Class of 2026. I know WhatsApp has limits for membership but we can always think of more accommodative platforms in the future. Here is the link WhatsApp Group Invite
There is a very informative SDSU parents group on Facebook. I’ve found an amazing group of parents that are willing to answer anything. There are also historical files on almost everything you can imagine.
That group has been a life savor!!!
hi!! i was looking through my transcripts and realized that a switched two grades in my freshman year… does anyone know what’s gonna happen?? i emailed the admissions counselor but she’s not gonna see it till tmrw please help:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
You should email SDSU admissions about the mistake. Keep any documentation you receive back. It should not be an issue if you notify them prior to reviewing your final transcript.

Has anyone been accepted from the SDSU waitlist? I haven’t seen any reports of this and my D17 has been hoping to go there.
I believe the waitlist has been closed. The Admissions Office sent an email on Monday that stated “all enrollment spaces have been filled.” Your daughter should check her portal.
