Did anyone here experience the panic of the recinded admission from sdsu? Seems about 400 admitted students got letters in error recinding their admission because, they claimed, transcripts had not been received. We were required to resubmit transcripts, and they reversed the decision, but in the meantime, it was awful because so many of these kids had turned down other schools. Plus, all of this came about 2 days before graduation.
Would like to talk to other sdsu parents who experienced this.

My son also received a letter saying his acceptance had been rescinded. He got it on June 10th and it put our family into a tail spin. Turned out he had filled out the forms properly, the school had mailed them properly, SDSU just didn’t receive them - at all! I overnighted them on Thursday and it was guaranteed a noon delivery the next day (Friday). While the package was delivered (somewhere on SDSU’s campus) admissions did not receive it until Tuesday. It only took a day once they received it, but it was awful!

That must’ve been pretty intense, my friend had a similar problem where a teacher made a mistake and gave him a D instead of a C and he lost his admission because of the final transcript. Luckily, they contacted the teacher and she realized her mistake and they fixed everything. This all last for about 2 weeks I believe, but it with over 50,000 applicants, it’s no wonder this stuff happens and takes so long to correct.
