Spoke to SDSU Admissions was told that I’ll have a answer from them by the end of the month. They will be mailing their decision and it won’t be updated in the Web Portal. They said to call them on 06/03/2016 to confirm a letter was sent out .
I called SDSU yesterday and they said appeal decisions wouldn’t be released until the end of June
I just called and received the same information as above … . Additionally, from what it sounds like, all appeal packages are treated equally; meaning all are reviewed until any decisions (and programs filled) are made.
Best to all of us hardworking students who are unfortunate as to be in an appeal situation!
Called today and was told that a decision on my appeal hasn’t been made. Sounds like you’ll all correct about maybe hearing back from them by the end of June.
Received an email early this morning saying that my appeal had been successful and that I have been admitted

I don’t quite remember when I submitted it. But in the middle of April I received an email saying that they had received my appeal package and it had all of the required items.
Congrats! Weird though, they told me I’d hear by mail first, not email and that my portal wouldn’t change until a bit after I heard by mail. I wonder if it’s different for some reason. Again though, good job!!
Before you were informed about being accepted, did your status on the student portal show you had appealed? did it change after you appealed? @Nt3998

I GOT IN TODAY. my webportal changed to accepted as well as getting a call from the person in enrollment services who worked with me on my appeal I’m so happy

@califorlife5 Hey what were your stats and what did you appeal about? I have a EI of 3400 and talked about home problems I’m a wreck wondering if I’ll get it. This is really a Hail Mary for my dream school GPA: 2.5 SAT: 2040 (1400/1600 cr and math)

Also, that’s not even a hail mary, you are wasting your time. Even if you were a local student you wouldn’t be accepted with grades like that.
This may be hard for you to hear but with those marks you are more suited to attend a community college and get your grades up before transferring to a university to finish your bachelors
