<p>Jaycasa, wow I didn’t realize they had a higher minimum for out of area transfers. Yeah, I’m from San Jose which is out of the san diego area. I’ll be finishing my Spring Quarter with a GPA of 3.0 so i’ll be lower than the standard 3.3. Not really sure what to do now. Any advice?</p>

<p>That’s ok. What exactly should students place on their letters of appeal? Besides the obvious about potential technical errors, should I write about why I should still be admitted even though my GPA was lower than the minimum amount of 3.3? When you went to the criminal justice department, did you speak to any of the professors there about possible exceptions for fall09? </p>
<p>Could you give me any tips for writing a letter of appeal?</p>
