SDSU chances/Cal Poly SLO/CSULB/CSUF

hey guys I have posted chances on here before but would like some more thoughts now that we are farther into college admissions. Here are my stats

CSU GPA: 3.64
ACT: 27
Eligibility Index using ACT: 998
Eligibility Index using ACT score converted to SAT score: 4132

I have been admitted to:
CSU Long Beach major: Business
CSU Fullerton major: Business
Cal Poly SLO: Ag Business

what are my chances for SDSU with my intended major of economics, also I know many acceptances went out today for SDSU, should I be nervous that it still says pending for me??

I am In state in the bay area by the way

I would say you have a decent chance since Econ has around 40% acceptance rate. Good luck

So the fact that I have not heard back yet when a lot of people have is not be a bad indication? @Gumbymom

I would not worry until you start seeing rejected or waitlisted applicants start posting. If you have not heard by Mid-March, then your chances may not be high. Be patient.

ok, thank you so much. One last question, SDSU sends their acceptances in waves and theres no telling when the next wave may come right? @Gumbymom

Yes, they send in waves. First in December, then end of February (current) through Early March and then a few trickles throughout the rest of March. The bulk of acceptances will be the next 2 weeks if they follow the same notification dates as the past few years.

Oh okay, so we are still in the midst of a wave not in between waves and more decisions could be made any day??
@Gumbymom

also is there any trend as to which decisions come out at which time? @Gumbymom

Other than usually the Nursing majors tend to hear last, no there is not any specific trend as when decisions are posted. Much depends upon the amount of applications that are received each year and how many spots are available since all these schools are impacted. It would be nice if the Cal States handle acceptances like most of the UC’s and post everything all at once, but the Cal States have their own crazy system when it comes to decisions. Just hang in there and I know easier said then done.

thank you so much for your help! @Gumbymom

for SDSU can i declare an alternate major when i plan to apply because i heard finance is one of the most competetive pre majors and so if i declared finance but didn’t get in and I put my alternate major as like comp sci would this give me a better chance thanks…
