I haven't taken my SAT yet, I'm taking it next month.

Based on your GPA your chances are low. Multiple C’s lower those chances even more. However, you can still get in if you do well on the SAT/ACT. SDSU, like most CSUs only look at critical reading and math. If you get a combined score of over 1200 for those two catagories, you may have a shot.

My combined score was 1000 out of 1600 and I still got in, but that’s because I had a high GPA.

You have a good chance if you score high on your SATs. This year over 75,000 applicants applied to SDSU making it one of the most sought after universities in the nation. And next year don’t be surprised if the record is broken, which means that competition is increasing.

And what is your major that your are looking into?

Im not 100% sure, but it’s between Liberal Studies, English, or Psychology

Part of the A-G requirements are four years of English, if you don’t take English senior year you won’t go into college.

Your English grades and the lack of English honors classes might hurt chances of getting accepted.

AP Literature and composition is an English class. And my school doesn’t offer honors classes at all
