<p>um recently I’ve been having some doubts on doing economics… do you think it’d be possible for me to switch majors, and if so, when?</p>

<p>Daughter auditioned for theatre mid-Feb. Got acceptance March 13. In-state, but not San Diego County. Did not apply to any other state schools. Weighted GPA 4.07 grades 9-12, weighted grades 10/11 4.15. Has quite a bit of theatre experience. Very impressed by the beauty of the school. Not being from San Diego I had only seen it going by on the freeway. Never knew what a jewel it was until she auditioned and we walked around campus. I would be very happy if she decides to go here!</p>
<p>Yes! That’s one of the reasons why I want to go back! San Diego is beautiful and so is the campus. I miss it so much. Congrats to your daughter!</p>

<p>I am from Portugal, and got accepted into business </p>
<p>I dont have the GPA or Honors, so I dont get credits from the honors system.
I did the AICE exames (from UK) and got my credits translated to USA, with 18 semesters and a 3.43 out of 4 (which I dont have a good idea if it is good or bad), as I said, in my portuguese private school we dont have programes that can bost our GPA, regardless if the classes are harder than those in the US.</p>
<p>According to the Portugues system, i got 18.5 out of 20.</p>
<p>From the AICE exames (that are the exames we actualy study in my school) i go 300 points out of 360 (cumulative curve, not representative in %) - (A in portugues AS / A in maths AS / B in economics A2 / C (69%grrr) in History A2).</p>
<p>I also did the SAT, but didnt actualy study for them, well i study for my AICE exames, so i kinda knew the stuff, (since i did a gap year) i took my sat in sep-nov 2012 (i finished school by june 2012). I just got to know the system and how the US exams are.
I got (on my 1st attempt) 580CR 700M 520W. at world history 640 and at maths1 800.</p>
<p>as i told, i am doing a gap year (i didnt had to, i wanted to( to prove, i entered for fall 2012 in the best portuguese university, but declained), but not one of those gap years where u dont do nothing, my gap years is impressive by any standards, as also i have a great pack of extracurricular activity ( i wont post here so i dont make the post even longer, but feel free to ask).</p>

I was just notified today as well. Invited to join Weber Honors College. I’m hoping for SLO, but this is a nice back up.
