I don’t know the percentage accepted early. We had no idea they did that to be honest. I think everyone notified early was encouraged to apply for honors. Since we are local, most of the kids in D’s class (40 kids) applied. Only 3 were offered admission this week. It’s the only CSU D applied to but a few others in her class were admitted early by Humbolt and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

I received an early notification of admission yesterday from SDSU for Class of 2018. I am in-state, non-local and my CSU/UC GPA was 4.2 Weighted. My SAT score was a 1200/1600. I took 2 AP Exams: AP Bio (3), AP English Lang (2).

My dd also received the email with the early acceptance and invitation to Honors Program. We are in state but out of service area. It was a good surprise, we didn’t know they notified top candidates early.
