94 HS GPA (we don’t use 4.0 scale)
530 CR/510 Math SAT
20 on ACT (didn’t submit but need to to so I could show that I got a 24 on math portion)
NO AP Courses only 6 honors
I hope me getting in encourages other people becuase I didn’t take one AP course throughout my whole high school life. My SAT/ACT scores weren’t good, and I only took 6 honors courses. And I still got in.
I just got accepted about an hour ago I checked online almost 24/7 after I applied. I’m so happy I almost cried. Definitely going there. GO AZTECS!

Also received the little “flyer” saying I was accepted into the Honors College. Congrats to everyone who got in…now to look for a back-to-back flight for Sunday the 14th B-)
If you don’t hear before all decisions (like how people have been hearing before the “decision day”) are released are you not admitted?
No, admissions last year took clear till April. Your web portal will either say pending, accepted, or denied.

Hey Mirna, I am a college admission administrator at SDSU and I am sorry to inform you that the cut off for Linguistics is 4100 Eligibility Index because we do not have many avaliable spots. You should receive your denial letter sometime next week. You can appeal and change your major after you get your denial letter. Again I apologize.
What is the cut off for pre political science? My daughter has an 4234. Still haven’t heard anything.
4100 is usually the unpublished cutoff for most of the competitive majors such as Engineering/CS etc… 4234 looks well within range and more acceptances should be coming any day now.
