SDSU Class of 2025 — Regular Decision

He applied EA everywhere he could, so we have heard from most schools already. He has a lot of great options no matter what happens with SDSU.

I think she meant her son’s last. Not our last.

Last year, my son (class of 2020) received his SDSU acceptance on March 3 (engineering). As my daughter says (waiting on nursing), he got it at 8:28am to be exact that day. I keep telling her to try to be patient. It may take longer, especially with nursing.

Although, I think I’m more impatient than she is.

Has anyone gotten in as a political science major?

D applied for that major at SDSU but no word yet.

I was accepted in December for Political Science.

Definitely starting to think that because the deadline for applications got extended, the acceptances are going to be delayed. But who knows, hopefully they come out soon

Did anyone else get an email this morning saying “Welcome to San Diego State”… then proceeded to say… thanks for you interest etc… Cruel joke to play this late in the game when acceptances are literally supposed to be coming out any minute!

no but ■■■

In-state or OOS? I’m in-state but not local, no one from my school has heard anything. I’m just so eager to hear back!

I am in-state non-local. I got accepted with a 4.23, five AP classes total, and 6 dual enrollments in my senior year. I didn’t submit any test scores either. Quite a few kids from my school still haven’t heard though either.

Test scores are not considered this year.

I got accepted in december for linguistics… considering switching to poly sci or international relations at one point

My sister is at SDSU and said that it can be fairly easy to change your major, but I don’t know the details of it.

Denied - Junior Transfer, Communications Major

@Gumbymom do SDSU transfers typically get notified before Freshman applicants?

Awww, dang it! I’m sorry! Thank you for letting us know on the thread.

SDSU has posted Transfer decisions early for the last few years. Remember some Freshman heard in December. Also far less transfer applications to review than Freshman apps.

So since they’re working on transfer applications now, do you think it will still be a few days before pending freshman applicants hear back?
