So I applied to these three school and... got in to all of them! My major is business with a focus on marketing. I plan on living in the dorms freshman year and would like an enjoyable college experience. I have no clue which school I should go to in the fall and it is starting to stress me out.
That being said, what school out of the three do you think would be the best for me? Thanks in advance.

All of them are in the same rough bracket academically and reputation-wise. We don’t know if you dream of living near the beach ala SDSU, in the burbs at CSUF, etc. I suggest you take a few days off of school and visit during the week to get a sense of what each is like; the atmosphere is going to be different at each. Try to talk to some students; at the cafeteria, for example, ask a couple of kids at a table if they mind if you join them and ask about the school because you’re a prospective student.

I’ve been to all 3. I think u should go to the one with the most residential students.

Actually, CSULB is much closer to the beach than is SDSU (my school), though that shouldn’t be a deciding factor. The usual desirability order is UC then SU then CSU but we’d have to know a lot about you to even have a guess which school might be best for you.

^^ You’re right, SDSU is not right on the beach. However many students live in Pacific beach or Mission Beach.

what is “SU”?

I would go to SDSU because they have the 2nd best public undergraduate business school in California and an overall stronger academic reputation compared to the other two. If you like sports and school spirit, SDSU has an incredible atmosphere for basketball games (they’re a top 10 team this year and should be at least a Sweet 16 team) and a football team that is going to make some noise in coming years. SD is a great city and there’s always a ton of stuff to do there. CSULB may be closer to the beach, but being from Orange County, I definitely prefer the beaches in SD compared to LA beaches.

SU is State University where the letters come at the end, vs. California State University with CSU at the beginning.

sorry, but there are the UC and the CSU’s, that is all

for instance, CSUN and CalPOlySLO are both the same type of California State University

Here is a history of the naming (and other milestones), including the five deemed worthy of the trailing State University:
