<p>I was accepted into the honors program at sdsu but I really have no idea what it is or if it is worth it. I have looked at the website, but I feel like a personal opinion from a student who has been in it or knows of it could be of more help. Is it a lot of unnessasry work? Does it help get classes easier...etc. I would love to hear anyones thoughts! Thanks so much!!</p>
<p>What it was some years back was a special group meeting with the dean and priority class registration, nothing else. Have others seen more recent additions?</p>
<p>It’s a good accolade to put on your graduate admission app (assuming you are going that route) and also on your resume for job/internships.</p>
<p>It’s a great program. You are required to do a senior thesis,travel abroad and acquire a Honors Minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. I believe you get guaranteed housing for 4 years. Also, if you want to do research in your area of study the program will match you with faculty.</p>
