I just checked my SDSU portal today and realized that my major is Pre-Nursing. I thought SDSU was direct admit so I’m kind of confused why my portal said my major was Pre-Nursing.
The first year are nursing prerequisite classes. Clinicals and nursing courses start in sophomore year. Is there a GPA requirement to continue to the BSN track? Give admission’s office a call.
@ECmotherx2 Sorry for the late reply, but I’m pretty sure SDSU Nursing converted to a direct admit program a few years ago.
Freshmen are admitted directly into the BSN program and will complete prerequisite courses during the first year of study and progress to major courses during Sophomore year.
