<p>I got in both these institutions as a Business major. At UCSB they have Econ so I would do that there and Business Marketing in SDSU. I know UC's have prestige but when it comes to my major which of the two schools is better? The deadline for SDSU is friday so I kind of have to decide now. Any help is appreciated!</p>

<p>As a business major, you’ll do both at great schools. Instead of worrying about prestige, etc., I’d say go with the one you like most. Go with your “gut feeling.” </p>
<p>Think: This is where I’ll be living for 4 years, making life-long friends, making good connections, etc.</p>
<p>School is also about the connections you make, not just academics. </p>
<p>Personally I chose UCSD over Berkeley, and I’m really happy with that decision. :)</p>
<p>Also CSU’s goals are to try to place you in the job market right away after you get your Bachelor’s or Master’s. UC’s are much more theoretics-based, so you’ll find yourself prepping for grad school rather than just prepping for your job right away. Cost is another factor too - UC’s cost more than CSU’s.</p>
