SDSU Rescind information

Hello all,
I recently received my acceptance letter from San Diego State, for the business administration w/emphasis in real estate program. This is my last semester at community college, I have maintained a 3.94 cumulative GPA and only received two B’s my entire college career (accelerated anatomy and econ). Anyways, the semester is half way over and I already have a low C in my calculus class which is a major prep for business transfers- so I have to complete it before transferring. There is a great possibility that I won’t pass this class, which is a huge failure to me personally and now will potentially destroy my GPA and get my acceptance rescinded. I have called and spoken to admissions counselors and they keep telling me that there is a possibility I might still get accepted but also a possibility it will get rescinded. As you know, I have to pay the 400 dollar non-refundable deposit soon and I am so afraid of losing all of that money and not getting accepted because this one class ruined everything for me. If anyone has any advice or experiences with this it would be greatly appreciated. I do not know what to do.

Thanks in advance.

Ave you sought a tutor?

Yeah I see a tutor every week, it is an online class with no lecture videos or any additional resources. Just an online textbook and homework through my math lab. The homework takes me 30 hours a week and it is only worth 70 points overall- not even a letter grade. Our entire grade is from the exams, which are on campus timed and written. I failed the first two midterms, and have two more to go. The exams are a lot different than our homework, the professor has awful reviews and has been no help to me but I try and remain persistent in hopes she may round my grade up to a C.

See if there are campus notes for the class. Go to the math department and ask.
Need to spend more time with the tutor.
