SDSU - Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences

Hello! I really want to get into SDSU, it’s probably my dream school and it offers my dream major, which is Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences.

My GPA is at a 4.3, and my sat scores is at a 1300, although I’m trying to make it higher. Based on that, what do you think my odds are on getting in? What’s the satisfactory SAT score that i would need to achieve? Thank you!

SDSU admits by Eligibility index and major. Your eligibility index is calculated as follows:
(CSU GPA x800) + (SAT Math + CR). An EI of 4100+ can be competitive.
There is no specific SAT threshold or GPA threshold except for the EI.

You need to calculate your CSU/UC GPA as follows and Cal states use the capped weighted GPA.

Based on your posted stats, you look like a competitive applicant. I have one data point for your intended major from this admission cycle. An in-state student was accepted with an EI of 4150.
