SDSU Transfer Decisions Thread 2016

@summerdreams I don’t have AA/ADT and I got one too. My first thought was that I messed up my application and chose the wrong thing, but I pulled a copy of it from csumentor, and I definitely submitted “No”.
I think they just did not filter applicants by ADT and sent this email to everyone, who applied. It’s likely that everyone will get a copy, maybe just later in the day. I got mine just a few minutes ago, and some people on this thread reported receiving it this morning.

.

@summerdreams I have the same problem. I applied as regular economics and got the same email just now.

It’s because you guys applied to a major that offers an ad-t. Every one who applied to a major that offers an ad-t received that email. Not just the ones who applied WITH one.

@PhoQSDSU15 there isn’t one for bio…it’s why I got the regular one

Bio is on it too

It isn’t offered at all community colleges

Not all community colleges offer SDSU’s approved AD-T majors. Since you applied to a major that falls under that category, I believe that is the reason why you received that email.

Goodluck guys, I got wait listed ): which means I wont get in pretty much

Should I be concerned if I have the ADT but didn’t receive an email?? My application is still pending though…

I am finishing my ADT in Spring in Administrative Justice which I know is an approved ADT

@mechhcem check your spam folder or it might just be delayed

Found out I was accepted a week ago!!!

Major: Hospitality Admin w/Emphasis in Event Management
GPA: 3.65
AA-T/AS-T?: No
Pre-reqs: 2/9
Golden 4: Done
SD Area?: No - From Santa Cruz County

Other Schools applied to:
Accepted: SJSU & University of Hawaii - Manoa
Rejected: Calpoly (SLO)
Waiting: SFSU

@aepaige Yeah I checked my spam and it wasn’t there but I called the school and it is all good. On a side not however, if all ADT applicants have to wait until April to hear back, how does that give us time to appeal if we want to? Some colleges say the deadline to accept admission offers is May 1st…

So i received this email…

Admission decisions will not be made until early April for transfer students who applied to a major for which there is an SDSU-approved Associate Degree for Transfer (AA-T/AS-T degree). For a list of majors, please visit the SDSU’s Associate Degree for Transfer website.

Transfer applicants to these majors who have completed or are in progress to complete an Associate Degree for Transfer (AA-T/AS-T) degree were asked to verify, prior to admission decisions being made in April, that they are on track to earn or have earned this degree to receive priority consideration.

If you have questions about the verification process, contact the Transfer Center at your community college. You will be notified of an admission decision in early April.

Office of Admissions…

I applied for Econ BA, now they send me this email talking about “AA-T” when i did not applied for it… I am confused… Now why i have to wait until April? what are they looking for???
Feeling Frustrated…

This is bull I’m not trying to wait til April to find out.

The email applies to anyone who applied to a major that has the AD-T, so even if you aren’t getting an AD-T your major might still offer it which is why you got the email because they’re waiting for the AD-T verifications to go through before they start giving priority admission

well another month to go… i hope i get accepted…

This is bull. We are supposed to get priority as ADT holders…

@mechhcem What did they say when you called? I am completing an ADT and have also not received the email. Is this something I should worry about?

@emcclure I am not sure, I would call the school to check with them. They’ll ask for your ID portal number to look at your account. The lady that I spoke to looked up my ID and said that the email had been sent to me and that she could see it hadn’t been opened. We confirmed that it was the right email address, however, I never received it.
