@RatedR95 Do you receive a Cal Grant B now/past semesters as a community college student? If you don’t haven’t then you probably don’t qualify for it. If you have been receiving a Cal Grant B in community college then there’s probably a problem wrong, check to make sure you submitted your fafsa on time this year, deadline was march2nd so it passed already
@RatedR95 to my knowledge, I think cal grants haven’t been approved/awarded yet. I checked mine online and it still says pending renewal. They get approved around end of June, or so the website says.

@nionic: Yeah, that’s what I was thinking too… mine also says pending renewal and I also read that we don’t get notified til around July or something.
I jus thought we’d still be made an offer of some sort at this time. Guess we’ll find out soon enough lol

Same! I am normally granted the Pell Grant, but on my aidlink it does not show it either. I thought it automatically renews itself?

@summerdreams I called last Tuesday and they said that we should hear something from that day to Monday April 4. They might have changed it but who knows.

Well hopefully I hear today. Bio major with all prereqs complete and 3.85 GPA. Also got an AS in natural sciences since my school doesn’t offer adt and finished IGETC. Anyone know my chances?

I’m shocked. My top pick is UCLA and now I’m incredibly nervous since I wasn’t admitted into SDSU. I don’t understand why I was denied? SDSU was my second choice tied with UCSD so does anyone have any tips on the appeal process?

I’m not surprised, tbh. My major has a 13% acceptance rate and I’m not from the SDSU area. The only thing I regret is not choosing to apply to SJSU instead of SDSU.

Also says I was redirected to another CSU. I had already been accepted to a few but SDSU was the only one I actually wanted to go to so I’m really bummed out. I got into UCSB though so I’ll most likely be going there. Good luck to everyone

Got accepted to a few but I really wanted sdsu. I’m so sad but I kind of expected it since I’m out of the area. I have my ADT already.
