Not true. I Was admitted and I applied AS-T
I have. Admitted on march 2nd 10am
I think I might have some insight on how they do acceptances, although all speculation.
No matter what major, if you have all your GE’s done, golden 4 and major prep, you where reviewed first/first to be accepted. Everyone else gets a later date where they have to wait because now they must compare who is closer to finishing and has a higher gpa.
Also, to whoever asked about any accounting majors , I was admitted and I read someone else with an emphasis in accounting was as well.
Our gpas differ vastly mine being lower by .5ish and it seems that because this person had an emphasis in business and was non local , they got in.
So those of you applying to general business or majors where there’s high competition expect to take forever to hear back because the people you’re competing with is huge
Major: Business Administration (Financial Services) - SDSU
GPA: 2.90
Prerequisites: Completed
Golden 4: Completed (3 A’s, 1 B)
AA-T/AS-T: Yes
Area: Non-Local (Bay Area)
Other Schools: CSULB (denied), SDSU, CSULA, CalPoly SLO, UCB, UCLA, UCI, UCSC, UCR (all pending)
Any similar majors and their responses?
@jg42793 I think you have a good chance since you choose AST and have a specialty.
I was admitted as a BA - accounting AST with all my classes completed and a 2.98 gpa.
was your AS-T for the major you applied to?
Does anyone know if sociology is really
Impacted major at SDSU. I’m hearing all majors are impacted.
@MrGonzo9733: SDSU is an impacted campus, so yes all majors are impacted.
I agree with you. If you specialize in something you are much more likely to be admitted.
You know I wonder if I will get rejected since when they asked on my supplemental application what my critical thinking course was I had to make a custom entry for Philosophy 9 symbolic logic. Now I just registered for a late start course in English 103 critical thinking so if I get denied maybe it’s worth an appeal if I actually care.
Hi, everyone! Congrats on all the acceptances! I was accepted into the nursing program. Wondering who is going to Explore SDSU? Also, for those who have decided to attend the school, what are you thinking regarding housing? As a transfer student I realize this may be difficult, but I would love to meet some people to live off-campus with.
I would check out the transfer housing on campus first. They have apartment style homes for transfer students, so you might be able to get that apartment living experience and have the convenience of living on campus (plus they give you free cable, wifi, gym, ect.) I
Man I don’t even care if I get denied I just want to know my decision soon. I’ve already been accepted into enough schools to where I can afford not to care.
I have been accepted into the nursing program too!! I am going to explore sdsu too! Im super nervous about finding people to live with im from the Bay Area SD feels so far!
I messaged you!
I plan on going to the open house on the 18th. I think it will be fun. If I don’t get accepted, then I’ll just have a nice vacation in San Diego instead!
@devinlou same! I heard that it’s really fun
