SDSU Transfer

So I am currently a student at Illinois State University going into my second year with a 3.87 GPA but I am a resident of San Diego. I want to transfer to SDSU for Fall 2022 but I am worried about my chances. I should have around 80 credits by the end of this school year and I have completed the golden 4 but I am confused about the general Ed requirements and how to make sure my courses will transfer. I am a double major for criminal justice and psychology with a Spanish minor. What are my chances?

The issue with SDSU is they give priority to applicants attending local SD community colleges. Being a SD resident but transferring from OOS gives you low priority.

That said, your GPA is competitive so definitely worth an application.

Below are some links for SDSU Sunspot and gives some information on course equivalencies. The best that you can do is read over the GE course descriptions required for transfer and try to match them to the GE courses at your current college.
