I've read that the school doesn't matter too much for comp sci if you have the right connections or after landing the first job.

Sdsu and UCI is not abet accredited while cpp is, but I've read it doesn't have that much of a factor for software jobs unlike other engineering branches.

Since comp sci is more of what you can do rather the school, is it reasonable to decide based on the social scene?
UCI probably has the upper hand on education but is it worth the tuition for the degree?

"I’ve read that the school doesn’t matter too much for comp sci if you have the right connections or after landing the first job. "

If you’ve read this from multiple sources, come on down to SDSU! But really tho…

I mean it’s ultimately your decision - Do you really want to shell out thousands of extra bucks per year for a degree from an “esteemed UC?” Especially for a degree in which that might not even make a big difference? Who knows how the job market will be when you graduate - not me, not you. Seems to me that a bit more research and thought may be needed before you make any final decision.

I can, however, guarantee that if you decide to come to SDSU and you’re a sociable individual, you’ll surely find your connections.
