I noticed on the sea project link there is a reading list. Does that list change from year to year or split to split? Could one get a jump start on reading before heading out to sea?

I"m pretty sure it doesn’t change. In fact, one of my favorite books that I had already read numerous times was on the list, so I wrote much of my report before going to sea and finished it up at home, referring back to the book when necessary.

Call it the “easy way out”, but when I was out there, the last thing on my mind was that humanities project.

Thanks I was just curious…

I don’t call it the “easy way out” I call it smart…being proactive.

hahahaha! I certainly didn’t mean to imply anything - sorry if that came off wrong

I should also add that if there is a book that you feel meets the objective of the assignment, you can submit it to the prof. before you go out to sea and she can make a special approval. That list is in no way, exclusive.

No KPMID09 I was honestly paying you a compliment!
