My son is trying to choose his 3 labs for SEAP Summer Internship. We are in CA, and he wants to choose NPS.edu. NPS.edu website mentions that student should be in 50 miles of Monterey, CA. nps.edu->web->stem->high-school
Minors must be from 50 miles of the city of Monterey; must reside with parent or legal guardian during internship. The home address on the application will be used to determine eligibility.

Anyone here knows if 50 miles is the strict requirement? I have tried contacting lab directly, but no response.
