search advice for petroleum engineering master program

Hello,
everyone, I am a petroleum engineer from China, and want to take my further education in the USA. I got the bachelor degree major in Petroleum Engineering with 3.6 in GPA. But I have not take the GRE test right now? I want to know whether there is any opportunity in master degree in my application? Hope you can give me some advice. Thanks!

I completed my bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in the UK last year with a second class, upper degree (which is about a 3.4 or 3.5 GPA) and I got accepted to study for an MS in petroleum engineering today. My GRE scores were not great either, I got 760/800 in quantitative, 550/800 in verbal and 5.0/6.0 in AWA. Just do well in the GRE exam (try for 750 and above in quantitative at least; 800 would be great) and apply. The fact that your bachelor’s degree was in petroleum engineering would also be a big plus. However I think its a bit too late to apply for fall 2010. Try for spring 2011 instead.

Congratulations. Which schools did you get accepted at?

Since when is a 1300+ not great on the GRE?
