Searching for strong Masters degree programs for Instrumental Music Ed. (K-12)

My daughter has a few schools in mind...however, was wondering how many programs most students apply for at the graduate level. Not sure how competitive these smaller programs are in comparison with the undergrad programs. Anyone want to recommend a couple of very notable programs for this? D will graduate this December with a BM in Instrumental Ed. and a BM in Violin Performance, so her focus will be on the strength of the strings, more so than band or choral...she plans to mostly teach orchestra and violin.

Oberlin offers a MM in Music Teaching. If she’s interested in Suzuki pedagogy, there are several excellent MM programs, some of which can be combined with a performance focus - Hartt and Ithaca come immediately to mind.

Most of the graduate Music Ed folks we know have pursued their degree at our state flagship.
