I am helping my sis in seeking a pre-med school which is generous enough to provide full scholarship to international student. I posted a similar thread a few months ago and i realized that a public pre-med uni is not applicable for international students.

Here is my sis stat:
SAT I : 1980
TOEFL: 625

Please recommend us a few schools where she could get a full scholarship with her stat.
Does she need SAT II?

Most colleges in the US have pre-med programs, you don’t necessarily have to attend a pre-med school. Any school will do really. The only issue now is that you want a full ride to an international student. Usually the schools that are need-blind to internationals are really rich schools like Harvard, Yale, etc. If you want a merit scholarship, i’m sure you can apply for several outside scholarships but then again, most are probably for US citizens. I’m sorry I can’t be of more help but if your financial need is actually high, tell her to apply to those top ivies that are need-blind to internationals.

I would think scholarships for internationals would be from their own countries (government maybe?). Sometimes through American foundations that provide aid to those countries or even the State Department (through American-whatever country friendship or cultural organizations perhaps). The American college might reserve a place for a student or students from a particular place, but the competition to earn that privilege is in their country of origin.
