Searching: Master's of Science in Information Technology/Systems

Hello,

I am a recent college graduate with no work experience. To make a long story short, I have searched very extensively for a job over the past few months and have so far been very unsuccessful in attracting attention. For multiple reasons, I had to take summer classes instead of internships. My undergraduate major was Business / Management Information Systems. I graduated with a VERY high GPA (both overall and major), among the top of my class. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I attended a university that has absolutely zero reputation or name recognition (not even within the state) beyond its AACSB-Accreditation. So between that and no internships, the job search has been terrible.

If I do not get a job offer, I have decided to go back for my Master's (though I do not wish to use my "MBA card" at this time - I know the very best MBAs require work experience). This time I plan to go to a school that has more employer recognition, and I will absolutely do an internship. Since this is not an MBA, I have to weigh financial factors as well. I am currently a Texas resident, so I already have a short list of texas public universities that offer an IT-oriented Master's of Science within their business schools. However, are there any other schools outside of Texas that have similiar programs, somewhat decent employer recognition, and are likely to give heavy financial aid / scholarship assistance to high GPA, high GMAT (possibly - have not taken it yet) out-of-state students (with zero EFC)?

Thank you.
