i realize im not getting an ivy league school here im just hoping for a decent one i was thinking like Gonzaga or maybe Depaul (im catholic if that matters so not opposed to a religious school)
Any suggestions of where i should be looking to go?
Thanks

The way I figure it the best you could do is a 3.25 UW for the four years. Look at Xavier or U Dayton. Will you need financial aid?

it wouldnt be need based, it would be merit based i guess

If you are seriously considering the pursuit of a music major (with or without a dual pursuit in an academic discipline) I suggest you spend some time here. [Music Major - College Confidential](Music Major - College Confidential Forums)

To begin to suggest schools for a music degree, especially a performance concentration without knowing more of your experience, training and background is really a shotgun approach.

If nothing else, do read this http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/music-major/258796-so-you-want-music-major-one-familys-experience.html

You need to give us more info.

1) size of school (LAC, large public, private mid-sized)
2) location (urban/rural/suburban, climate, part of the country)
3) culture (artsy, preppy, jock, granola, preppy, etc…)
4) deal-breakers (single sex, etc…)

We can give you much better advice if you give us more to work with.
