<p>Although the SEAS acceptance rate is twice that of CC, we are talking about 18.1 vs 8.9, not like 30 vs 60 percent. At acceptance rates as low as Columbia's traditional two undergraduate schools, the difference in selectivity is negligible, especially when considering the different type and amount of applicants that each school attracts.</p>
<p>I think that we all agree that acceptance rate doesn't measure the self-selection rate.</p>
