<p>SAT IIs: USH730 Math2C 760 Physics Taken on Nov</p>
<p>GPA: 4.3/4.4 in my junior year. 3.25ish for my 9th and 10th grade GPA. BUT I attended local high schools in Korea for my 9th and 10th grade, and I stayed in the top decile.</p>
<p>Rank: 60/350 in my current high school, because of the stupid school system that crams my Korean GPA into my transcript.</p>
<p>Other stats: Finished Calc2 course at a local college over the summer and currently taking calc3...? I dunno.</p>
<p>EC: Church youth group president, XC JV runner, Choir tenor... not really strong. no awards or anything</p>
<p>Essays: Most of the ppl who read it liked it. For short answers, I think I answered very well. Showed what kind of person I am and how SEAS's new FE program will suit me.</p>
<p>Teacher Recs: I have no clue, but they both liked me</p>
<p>Counselor Rec: Fine? I have known him for only about 2 months before he worked on my rec. He wasnt very helpful, but still a great person!</p>
<p>Hook (if any): English is not my primary language, lived most of my life in Korea, came to my first American high school my junior year. Plus I live alone with my brother who goes to local college, while my parents live overseas.
For my 9th and 10th grade, I attended local high schools in Korea, which are obviously utterly different. </p>

<p>School Type: Rural public. Most go to local state schools and only about 5-10 seniors go to selective colleges. Last year it was MIT, USC, Penn, Emory, Northwestern and loyola marymount as far as I know...</p>
