SEAS major question, help!

hey, I received my course catalog things in the mail today, and I’m not sure whether or not I should change my major. Which is closer to neuroscience, Biomed science or Cognitive/computer science? The only reason I’m a little wary of changing my major to the latter is because I won’t be able to actually take cognitive science until later in college. and i dont want the computer aspect of the major to digress from the medical path(?) … I’ve been trying to research on penns website but i still would like a student’s opinion? thanks

Biomedical Studies (bioengineering) has little to do with neuroscience at the undergrad level. If that's your thing, definitely stick with cognitive science or do the actual neuroscience concentration (which is part of both biology and biological basis of behavior)

the cog sci/comp sci major is fairly heavy in comp sci.. I think the major is more the focus of ways to make more "intelligent" computers rather than a medical focus. Remember, no matter what your major, you can always take electives.

hope this helps :)
