<p>They usually take anywhere from 10-20 students per event....but yea, the whole lottery thing makes it kindda annoying not to mention that every year the change up the rules....one year you have to show up at some event to sign up and one yr they say you have to show up but then open it up to online registration etc etc.....there's also Urban NY which is all online which makes it easier....i got tickets to a knicks game soph yr which was awesome and i could've gone to dinner at some restaurant senior year but i was....umm....convinced to skip it.</p>
<p>yeah, well prior to the online lottery thing, the Urban NY program made you basically sleep in lerner overnight in order to get in and sign up for stuff. people would go down to the party space at like 5am with a pillow and a book and start a manual list of when everyone got there in what order. it was kinda sucky, but at least it had the advantage of giving those who were the most committed the best tickets.</p>
<p>i remember last year in orientation when they talked about this that something like 20% of students get their first pick but 90% get one of their top 3 so it's not that bad</p>
