I want to apply to one or the other as a back-up if my current out of state status impedes me form getting into UW. I need strength in business with an international bent and east asian studies, mostly japanese concentration. Comments from attendees would be greatly appreciated.

Well, SU certainly has lots of Asian students and a good business school. Also more jobs in the area.

im not an attendee but live in canada just above seattle and i would have to say seattle U is in a much better location then gonzaga which is in spokane..seattle u and gonzaga are both jesuit schools.if you are looking for an urban school in the pacific northwest seattle U is a best bet. i was planning to apply but thought it was too close to home for me. like the above poster said the business school is pretty good for the pacifc northwest..that was the school i was hoping to get into if i did apply but yeah me personally i would pick seattle U but i bet gonzaga has better school spirit because of the basketball team and the spokane location..it's up to you to deicde what you like better, however I think seattle is a great city for shopping, food, and fun and I'm sure you would love it..oh and also like the above poster said the asian population is about 23% of the school if that means anything to you

Seattle U. Absolutely.

Seattle vs. Spokane is reason ALONE.

yeah i have to agree with you bandten
