Which university has more to offer?

Depends on your focus of study - what are you looking at?

I went on 2 tours to each school - 1 basic and 1 indepth tour, hoping I can help!: )

i want to double major into spanish and something in the sciences either engineering or pre-med

which campus looks nicer?

UW has a great science department, don’t know about their language though.

I have a friend minoring in Spanish at UW and he said it has been very easy for him to get all his credits, especially because he took the AP Spanish exam in high school. From what I know, he said it’s very doable to minor in Spanish.
If you want pre-med and engineering, UW is definitely going to offer more. It is very competitive in either track. Personally I like UW campus much better. You can’t really compare the two. Seattle U is much much smaller. So it depends what you’re more comfortable with. Financially, there are differences as well. Do you get aid/scholarship money at SU?

I’m planning on a double major with language… and from what I asked at both campuses along with my Seattle U interview, UW seems to have a more suitable language dept. It has many more options - 20+ languages, and UW has a massive international base.
Though the classes for Spanish at UW will probably be much larger than what you’ll encounter at UW, at least in the beginning level courses. So it depends on what you’re looking for…

Not sure about the sciences though, it’s not my stronghold…

And as far as campus beauty…

Seattle U has an open campus with lots of greenery, mostly open grassy areas alongside the main campus path and some natural shubbery. The campus is pretty small and you are nestled in the city. I got the feeling you could just walk on the main campus area and pass through on your way to another building. I think it has a lot of campus beauty, but not as much as UW. UW’s campus is technically open, though UW is so large you definitely are always on campus (it feels like its own town)… it doesn’t get the feeling that someone could or would want to walk through campus on their way to another area of Seattle. Plenty of large grassy areas and pathways.

UW has a massive area - “The Quad” with cherry blossom trees where you can lounge at, or sit on the steps. Each end has an abundance of beautiful scenery and you can find your own place to sit and relax on a sunny day.
UW has more gothic architecture, while SU has modern. SU’s modern architecture seems very green and brand new, with lots of large windows. It depends on what your taste is.

I would have to say UW leaves SU in the dust. It is higher ranked, nicer, and less expensive. It also has everything you want so choosing the UW is a win/win/win:) In short, if you were accepted to the UW, GO! There are plenty of kids that got denied (12,000 actually) that wish they had the UW as a choice.
