Seattle University vs. Whitman College

So I'm trying to decide between Seattle University and Whitman College. Cost is pretty much a non-issue; both are going to cost me 8-10k a year. Ideally I would like to attend graduate school in International Relations or law school.

Seattle University: urban, mid-sized university

Pros:
Has my first-choice major: International Studies-Poli Sci
Better access to jobs and internships
Balance in social life between campus and the city

Cons:
Weaker academics
Gloomy weather

Whitman College: rural(?), small-sized LAC

Pros:
Better academics
Nicer weather (less rain)
Social life based mostly on campus

Cons:
2nd choice major- Poli Sci-Environmental Studies combined program
Walla Walla isn't the most happening college town around. I feel like I might get claustrophobic.

BOTH SHARE:
friendly, laid-back atmosphere
smaller, more intimate class settings
aesthetically pleasing campuses

I'm really quite torn, so any input you guys have would be much appreciated. Thanks so much! :)

WHITMAN!!
Although there isn't much going on in Walla Walla itself, it seems liked there were plenty of events on campus and such. I hear you on the claustrophobia, but I think that with this plethora of events available on campus there would be plenty to do otherwise. Also, if you're planning on applying to law school/something with IR, I feel that Whitman would be more academically impressive. These are all my (sort of biased) opinions, though, take them with a grain of salt! Good luck with your choice

I second Whitman for the same reasons. ^^There is a ton of stuff to do at Whitman. They want to counteract the perception that the more rural setting is boring by establishing great outdoor programs etc.

WW has become a destination wine tour town with lots of top new restaurants and a revived downtown. I know several people thinking of retiring there from Seattle.
