Just a couple questions, anyone help?

Whats the best place to dorm if Im attending SEBS? Or does it not matter?

As crazy or weird as it sounds I really would like the most diverse place to dorm as I have gone to a school in which 99% of the student body was white. Not that I had a problem with it as they were all great, I just want some diversity for once.

Can anyone tell me anything about the Biotechnology Major? How many kids usually enroll in it?

Thanks. Appreciate it.

Many SEBS classes are on the cook/douglass campus, but as a freshman your classes could potentially be on other campuses too. I’m not familiar with the freshman dorms on Cook/Douglass, but I really enjoy living on Busch campus.

Rutgers in its entirety is very diverse. You’ll see people of all different backgrounds on every campus :)

It may be unrelated to the topic, but Cook/Douglass is just awful. It’s got aesthetic apeal, and that’s about it; classes are so far apart from each other, so you have to walk a lot. Vendors at DCC aren’t very friendly (and they are stubborn and can’t do simple calculations), Neilson Dining Hall is usually overcrowded with lack of variety, people you study with are most likely different majors.

Im planning on doing the pre-med requisites where would most of that classes be located?

Is it possible/manageable to travel between busch to cook etc? Do people who attend SEBS stay at busch?
