Second bachelor or Master???

It has been two years since graduated from college.
I graduated with B.S. in management with concentration in finance.
I want to go to ph.d in economics, but my gpa(2.5) is horrible and I found out that
I need lots lots of math.
So, I am thinking about applying to second bachelor in math(ccny cuny has B.S. in applied math, and courses they offer is pretty good, i think.) to fulfill math requirement for phd.
Or
apply to master in economics and take few math courses...

I’m not even sure you can get to graduate school with that GPA. Usually the 3.0 is the min even for school with high acceptance rate. You might want to consider the second degree option.

Although an applicant’s GPA is a major factor for a graduate program, it’s not the only factor. It’s going to be a long shot but if you have excellent recommendations and show that you’ve progressively matured both as a student and professionally within those two years out of school, you might have a shot.

Thank you for feedback
