Second Consulting Internship?

I am a junior attend a top 25 school and am interested in going into consulting. My majors are International Business and Finance, with an Economics minor. I started my current consulting internship in May 2011 and will finish December 2011 (around 8 months experience). The firm was smaller (projects under $10 million) and dealt with international development, specifically renewable energy.

However, my grades are rather low (around a 3.0). Given my prior experience interning, would I stand a chance at interning with say, a second tier consulting firm like Accenture?

It depends on what school you go to. Accenture, like many companies, treats GPAs from different schools differently; it will be very difficult for you to secure an internship if they don’t recruit on campus at your school. That said, it cannot hurt to put in your resume and cover letter and see what happens.
