Second Degree Program

I messed up my gpa in rutgers....asides that I was wondering if i get accepted to the second degree program for nursing am I starting my undergrad gpa all fresh?Because basically it's another completely different degree.
I want to know a way to get into the rutgers second degree program for nursing bc it only requires one year of schooling as opposed to 4 if you studied at a community college and transfered to the rutgers nursing school... the gpa required is 3.0 only for second degree students....but i dont even meet that.......Im almost done with school, but SHould I just keep taking more courses until i get a 3.0 and then apply? Also how likely would it be if I double majored in exercise science, and is it possible to get accepted to a masters program for nursing? I know rutgers doesnt accept students in nursing grad program if they dont have a major in nursing, but how about others? Or should I try winning a scholarship to rutgers? Would winning a scholarship to a college guarantee acceptance to a nursing school if the college has the nursing program? Is there no way out once the gpa is damaged?SHould I study on my own and pass the nclex then show the rutgers nursing dean -look i passed it can I be accepted into the program?after my mom got surgery for cancer...I realized how important money and time is....her surgery itself cost 9,000 i dont know how much doctor visits and therapy would cost....if i study something that takes alot of time I might not even have the chance to buy good things for my parents or try to give them time to enjoy their life and get a break from working their butt off not even having the time to take care of them selves. I want to do something that pays me alot of money in short amount of time...and im not smart...but i can work hard....pls help me out
