Well im about to start college, picked chemE, and i must take a class of a foreign language, i get to choose between either french or german, but im attracted to both languages, so i honestly dont know what to choose, which one you think would be more usefull to my career? or idk just comment!! :D</p>
<p>If for practical purposes, go with German. There is a lot of industry in Germany, though not sure about the ChemE industry in Germany.</p>
<p>However, if you want to impress the opposite sex, go with French.</p>
<p>German: more useful, more like English.
Too bad you can’t choose Chinese…</p>
<p>I would choose german, since french does not have as much stature as it used to.</p>
