Has anyone gotten into Harvard without a second language?

I’m not sure what you mean by second language…if you mean a foreign language, then I think Harvard strongly recommends that prospective applicants take 4 years of a foreign language during high school.

i’m sure there are athletes and other hooked applicants who have. but other than that, it doesn’t reflect well on one’s application.

i mean, i think you should at least take 2 years of a foreign language…and then if you have another class that is just so amazing that you absolutely have to take it and forego the foreign language, then i don’t think Harvard will care THAT much. (as long as this amazing class isn’t ceramics or something like that)
