My teacher(who wrote me a rec letter for the common app) offeres to write me another rec for my wait list schools. Problem is, i'm international, and my teacher also doesnt know anything about the US college admission process. So, is this a good idea? And if she does write me another rec, is there any 'dos and donts' considering she already wrote me one earlier? I really need advice, thanks.....

It won't be a problem if your teacher wrote you another teacher recommendation. Submitting such recommendations to your waitlist schools only shows your continued interest. Just keep one thing in mind, your teacher should not write a recommendation that is virtually the same as her first recommendation or you'll just end up being rejected since you haven't revealed anything new or significant. This recommendation should be different. Emphasize this to your teacher. Good luck! :)

Don't you have someone else who could write you one? A coach, employer, community leader, or another teacher who has seen a different side of you? Whatever you think may have been the weakness in your application, try to find someone who could counteract that in a letter.
