<p>My friend was recently informed that she would be placed on the second round of admissions at Loomis due to the admissions office having lost some of her materials. She was a bit anxious if this meant that she would have less of a chance of being admitted into Loomis. The second round does not refer to wait lists.</p>

<p>Many of them claim they have a “second round.” Even Hotchkiss. Obviously the prospects during a second round are not great, but I think that they are hedging just in case people cannot or will not come up with the 40k.</p>
