second semester freshman didnt get into Smith

I applied to change my major to Business in Smith last semester as a first-semester Freshman, but unfortunately they told me to reapply when I have 60 credits.

How hard is it to transfer in? Is it true you have to have a 3.5?

Or should I just be the typical Smith reject and major in economics? (I know that sounds bad)

You should go talk to the folks at the Career Center and do a four-year plan. They will be able to give you the information and insight you need to get the right classes to prepare for Smith and to know what you have to do to get accepted.

I am a parent and I was very impressed with their presentation at Orientation. It gave me great confidence that with the proper support, students can achieve their academic goals even if they didn’t get into the program they wanted from the start.

maybe you should have stepped it up in high school and got into Smith

^^^rgh, why would you post something so petty and pointless?

My son was a direct admit to Smith but he has several fraternity brothers who transferred in just as soon as they qualified. It’s not necessary to wait until junior year if you’ve met the entrance requirements sooner. Hope it works out for you.

hey well of max- i hate you you little pooper :)
