So really, how much do these grades + final grades weigh in for colleges? (the ones you got accepted). I feel like slacking off has become like a no option. Any oppinions or experiences?

Depending on which schools you're talking about, there might be room for some very slight slipping.

But one of my friends got accepted to the University of South Florida earlier in the year...and he just got his acceptance taken back once USF got his 1st semester grades because his grades took a huge drop. I'm sure it's pretty similar for 2nd semester grades.

Colleges will rescind accpetances for major drops in any semester, particularly second, because these schools want to see a good character that will maintain hard work even when not required for college admission. Besides, if you are taking any APs or were rejected from all your schools, a good record semester 2 of senior year helps, and any APs you do well on = more excused credit.

I've read of folks who have had acceptances revoked after their 2nd semester grades took a big drop, especially when they dropped to Cs & lower. Your GC can give you more details. Some folks also get dropped from honor societies & the like.
Like Kman said, it also will handicap you when you start college if you don't learn the material well in 2nd semester, especially if you're taking APs & hope to score well & get out of classes to start college at as a sophomore or junior, etc.

Would a grade drop in courses such as an A to a B or a B to a B- in 3 or more subject courses have a significant effect? What if you uped from a B- to an A in one course but went down from a B to a C in another course- how does that factor in? I ask this because my grades are pretty mediocre already but wonder how much they weigh in even after acceptance.
